☀️ Good News (Neurodivergent Edition) — September 2026

Less doomscrolling. More good brain stuff. Here’s what made us smile this month.
🎬 Tisha Campbell joins the AuDHD club
Actress Tisha Campbell revealed that she's AuDHD — autistic AND ADHD — after being assessed by two separate specialists.
She spoke about spending her life masking, hiding her stimming and finding comfort in lifelong special interests like acting and music.
That familiar late-diagnosis moment strikes again:
Ohhhh. So THAT'S why. 🌶️
🎻 Autism + a Guinness World Record!
Musician Matthew Newnham found something pretty special after joining an inclusive orchestra: somewhere he felt he actually belonged.
Since joining, his confidence has grown — and he's now even part of a Guinness World Record-holding orchestra.
Finding your people AND becoming a world-record holder?
We'll absolutely count that as a win. 🏆
🎢 Theme parks just got more ND-friendly
A new virtual queuing system for disabled visitors was praised after launching across major UK attractions including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Legoland.
For neurodivergent people who find long, crowded queues overwhelming, changes like this can be the difference between actually enjoying the day and spending it completely overloaded.
Accessibility that genuinely makes things easier?
YES PLEASE. 👏
💼 Maybe the workplace isn't the problem. The fit is.
Research continues to challenge the idea that autistic traits are automatically workplace “deficits”.
Different brains can bring different strengths, perspectives and ways of spotting problems.
Instead of asking autistic people to fit the workplace...
Maybe we should build workplaces that fit more kinds of brains. 🙌
🧠 More diagnoses doesn't necessarily mean “more autism + ADHD”
A huge study of more than 2 million young people looked at why ADHD and autism diagnoses have increased.
One important finding? People receiving diagnoses today can have less obvious or stereotypical traits than those diagnosed a decade ago.
Which could mean we're simply getting better at recognising people who would've previously slipped through the cracks.
Looking at you, generations of overlooked women. 👀
🌶️ SEPTEMBER'S VERDICT
An AuDHD celebrity reveal. A world-record-holding autistic musician. More accessible days out. Better workplaces. Research catching up with the people who were missed.
September understood that different doesn't mean less.
And we LOVE to see it.
Because normal is overrated.
NOT DONE SCROLLING? 🌶️
